It took a few last minute telephone calls but there was a quorum at the 2014 Annual Meeting. Thanks to all that attended and those who mailed their proxies.

If you are a slip owner and would like to contribute your time serving on the LBYC Board of Directors, please contact the Commodore at lbyc-at-limestonebayyachtclub.com.

The Board is composed of nine members that serve on a volunteer basis for three years each. Three directors are elected each year so there is overlap of terms to assure continuity of leadership/management. A number of our board members have served faithfully for many, many years and have advised that they intend to step down at the end of their current terms, or would be interested in "retiring" early to enable an interested member to get some mentoring from an old salt during a transition period.

Please consider serving. It can be a rewarding experience, and it sure beats just complaining without any way to get your ideas for the marina implemented. We are looking for new ideas and fresh blood in all areas of business expertise from engineering to financial, to food service and general management, etc. Your contribution WILL be appreciated.
